NBA Section on Business Law Inaugurates 2026–2028 Executive Committee Led by Baba Alokolaro
The NBA Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) has officially unveiled its new Executive Committee and Advisory Board for the 20262028 tenure, with Baba Alokolaro stepping in as the 10th Chairman
The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law has officially unveiled its Executive Committee and Advisory Board for the 2026, 2028 administration. The new leadership team will direct the Section’s strategic initiatives,professional development programs, and policy engagements over the next two years.
Baba Alokolaro, Managing Partner at TNP, assumes office as the tenth Chairman of the Section, succeeding Mrs. Ozofu 'Latunde Ogiemudia after serving as Vice Chairman during the 2024, 2026 tenure. He is supported by Ayoyinka Olajide-Awosedo as Vice Chairman, Adeleke Alex-Adedipe as Secretary, and Rotimi Ogunyemi as Treasurer. Completing the executive officer lineup are Funmilayo Otsemobor as Assistant Secretary and Fatima Kere-Ahmed as Financial Secretary.
To ensure effective zonal coordination across Nigeria, the Section appointed Marx Ikongbeh as Zonal Officer for the North and Ebi Harry as Zonal Officer for the East.
The Executive Committee also comprises prominent commercial legal practitioners and senior members of the bar,including Isaiah Bozimo SAN, Nnaemeka Egonu SAN, Ose Okpeku, Dr. Edefe Ojomo, Desmond Ogba, Seyi Bella,Solape Peters, Uche Wigwe, Oladele Oladunjoye, and Temiloluwa Okeowo.
Additionally, Christine Sijuwade, Kehinde Daodu, and Perenami Momodu will serve on the Section’s Advisory Board,providing strategic oversight and institutional guidance to the executive committee throughout the 2026, 2028 term.
