- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements and contracts, safeguarding the company's interests.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust corporate governance and compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Provide proactive legal advice and guidance to Management on a wide range of legal and regulatory risks, including corporate, commercial, employment, and data protection issues.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external legal counsel as needed, ensuring effective collaboration and cost-efficiency.
- Offer strategic legal insights and support for business expansion initiatives, partnerships, and daily corporate operations.
- Ensure the company's adherence to all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations, including those related to property technology, data protection (NDPR/NDPA), and financial services where applicable.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and Barrister-at-Law (B.L) degrees from a recognized institution.
- Duly qualified and called to the Nigerian Bar as a legal practitioner.
- 3-6 years of demonstrable post-call professional experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Proven expertise in corporate and commercial law, with a strong understanding of legal principles applicable to technology, real estate, fintech, or financial services sectors being a significant advantage.
- Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice on diverse corporate, operational, and regulatory matters.
- Profound knowledge of Nigerian corporate law, labour law, and data protection regulations, including the NDPR/NDPA.
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to legal challenges.
- Superior drafting and negotiation abilities, capable of handling intricate legal documents and discussions.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
- Unwavering professional integrity, ethical conduct, and a commitment to strict confidentiality.
- Strong strategic reasoning abilities, capable of anticipating legal risks and developing proactive solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
