Africa's compute future will not be built by accident. It will be built deliberately, together. This is why we are excited to announce BUILD 2026, Africa's Shared Compute and AI Infrastructure Conference, hosted by the Nigeria AI Collective under the leadership of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy, for advancing the infrastructure, investment, policy and partnerships required to strengthen Africa’s position in the global AI ecosystem. Theme: Building Africa's Shared Compute and AI Infrastructure. For two days, policymakers, researchers, innovators and builders will work through one question: how does Africa build, share and govern the compute its AI future depends on? The programme spans six tracks; Infrastructure, Economics, Geopolitics, Tech Justice, Governance & Ethics, and Innovation Catalysis.
