- Assist students and faculty in locating and utilizing legal research materials, both print and electronic.
- Manage and organize the law library's collection, including cataloging, shelving, and inventory.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal databases, research tools, and emerging trends in legal information.
- Guide legal citation, research methodologies, and ethical use of information.
- Support the acquisition and processing of new legal resources.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of library policies and procedures.
- Participate in library outreach programs and instructional sessions for the Faculty of Law.
Requirements
Requirements
- A good Bachelor's Degree in Library & Information Science.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B).
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in using library management systems and legal research databases.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Commitment to providing excellent user support and fostering a positive learning environment.
