- Manage the Managing Director’s calendar, meetings, appointments and key engagements.
- Prepare meeting agendas, briefing notes, presentations, reports and other executive documents.
- Attend management and departmental meetings as required, document key decisions and maintain an effective action tracker.
- Follow up with Department Heads and other stakeholders on action points assigned by the Managing Director.
- Monitor deadlines, commitments and deliverables arising from management meetings and executive directives.
- Coordinate internal and external correspondence on behalf of the Managing Director where required.
- Conduct research and provide relevant information to support executive decision making.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive corporate, commercial, employee and management information.
- Monitor the Company’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations and internal policies.
- Review business documents, agreements, contracts, letters and other legal or commercial documentation and flag potential legal or compliance risks.
- Support the preparation, review and maintenance of contracts, NDAs, MoUs, service agreements and other corporate documents.
- Maintain a compliance register covering key statutory, regulatory, contractual and internal compliance requirements.
- Track regulatory and statutory deadlines and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely compliance.
- Identify potential compliance gaps and escalate material risks to the Managing Director and relevant management personnel.
- Support the development, review and implementation of corporate policies, procedures and compliance frameworks.
- Conduct periodic compliance checks across departments and document findings, corrective actions and closure status.
- Maintain proper records of legal documents, regulatory correspondence, licences, permits, certificates and other compliance documentation.
- Liaise with external solicitors, regulatory bodies, consultants and other professional advisers when authorised.

- Mandatory: Legal Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) is mandatory.
- Call to Bar / qualification as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria is strongly preferred.
- 4–6 years of relevant professional experience in legal, compliance, corporate governance, executive support or a related function.
- Demonstrable experience in legal documentation, contract review, compliance monitoring and corporate governance.
- Experience supporting senior management or executives will be an advantage.
- Experience within an engineering, construction, oil and gas, EPC or other corporate environment will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian legal and regulatory requirements.
- Legal research and analytical skills.

- Compliance monitoring and risk identification.
- Corporate governance knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity and professional judgement.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business documentation tools.
