Job Description

• Design, coordinate, and manage the Foundation’s Moot Court, Debate, and Legal Advocacy Programmes, including law competitions, training workshops, and awards initiatives.
• Support the Internship and Mentorship Programmes, ensuring structured learning and professional development for law students.
• Work closely with the Head of Legal, Humanitarian and Charitable Affairs to support legal aid matters relating to women’s rights, child protection, and access to justice.
• Write and publish a weekly legal e-blog and assist with the research, editing, and compilation of the HJIUF Law Journal.
• Conduct legal research, to assist with legal aid submissions for courts, tribunals, and advocacy initiatives.
• Support community outreach programs and programs.
• Contribute to the Foundation’s thought leadership, policy commentary, and legal publications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); BL. 
OR 
• LL.B undergraduates with extensive experience in organising moot courts, debates, or law competitions are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Proven experience in moot court competitions, debate facilitation, legal research, or legal writing is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational, communication, and mentorship skills.
• A clear commitment to ethical legal practice and advancing justice for underserved populations
