Legal Officer

Job Descriptions

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Maintain and organize legal files, contracts, licenses, permits, and corporate records.
• Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and industry developments relevant to the company's operations.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Support the preparation and filing of statutory and regulatory documents.
• Monitor contract renewal dates and ensure timely renewals of agreements and licenses.
• Assist in reviewing vendor, customer, employment, and service agreements.
• Prepare legal correspondence, notices, reports, and memoranda.
• Support the handling of legal disputes, complaints, and claims under the supervision of senior legal personnel.
• Liaise with external solicitors, regulatory agencies, and government institutions when required.
• Assist in maintaining records of litigation, legal matters, and compliance activities.
• Support the implementation of company policies and ensure legal compliance across departments.
• Assist with intellectual property documentation, confidentiality agreements, and data protection matters.
• Provide legal support to HR on employment-related documentation, disciplinary matters, and policy reviews where required.
• Participate in compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Monitor changes in legislation that may impact the company's operations and report significant updates.
• Ensure confidentiality of all legal and corporate information.
• Perform any other legal or administrative duties assigned by the Legal Manager or Head of Legal.
