  • Draft, review, and manage the lifecycle of all commercial contracts, ensuring 100% accuracy and protection.
  • Act as the primary point for due diligence, risk reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide real-time counsel to internal stakeholders to avoid disputes and manage litigation efficiently.
  • Participate in client onboarding meetings to ensure legal alignment from the very first touchpoint.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized university.
  • Barrister-at-Law (B.L) and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
  • Minimum 2 years in a corporate startup environment. We are specifically not looking for legal consulting/law firm backgrounds—you must be comfortable being an in-house generalist.
  • Ability to maintain a 24-hour TAT for document reviews without sacrificing quality.
  • Expert in collaborative tools (Google Drive, CRM) for legal document management.
  • A researcher at heart who can translate complex laws into simple business SOPs.
