Company Description

 

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Legal Officer / Legal Associate based in Nigeria. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents, representing clients in court proceedings, conducting legal research, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Daily tasks will include managing case files, liaising with clients, and handling a variety of legal matters with precision and professionalism.

Qualifications Proficiency in Legal Research, Analysis, and Interpretation

• Strong skills in Drafting, Reviewing, and Negotiating Legal Documents

• Experience in Litigation, Advocacy, and Court Representation

• Knowledge of Compliance, Corporate Governance, and Regulatory Affairs

• Ability to manage multiple cases and work professionally under tight deadlines

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including persuasive writing

• Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite is an asset

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) and completion of Nigerian Law School

• Membership with the Nigerian Bar Association is required

• At least 5 years of post-call work experience in a reputable law firm or as a corporate law practitioner.
