Legal Manager

The Legal Manager will provide legal leadership and oversight, helping RMB operate in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies while identifying and managing legal risks across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide practical legal advice on transactions, products and operational matters.
• Identify, assess and manage legal risks across the business.
• Ensure compliance with company law, securities regulation, AML/CFT, sanctions and other applicable regulations.
• Prepare legal risk reports highlighting key risks and recommended actions.
• Support legal and risk policies and strengthen governance frameworks.
• Engage with regulators and internal governance forums.
• Provide legal support for transactions, products and business initiatives.
• Support product development and approval processes.
• Manage relationships with external legal counsel, including fees and performance.
• Reduce reliance on external counsel by strengthening internal legal capability.
• Lead and develop the Legal team.
• Develop legal training for the Legal team and key stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
