Director of Legal

The Director of Legal will lead Cavista Holdings’ legal, corporate governance, regulatory, compliance and risk functions across the Group and its portfolio companies. The role is a senior executive position, working directly with executive leadership, the Board and portfolio-company leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group's legal strategy.
• Advise the Executive Leadership Team, Board and portfolio companies.
• Establish strong corporate governance frameworks and policies.
• Advise on investments, acquisitions, partnerships and corporate restructuring.
• Lead legal due diligence and support M&A, joint ventures and strategic investments.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, financing, vendor and investment agreements.
• Ensure regulatory and legal compliance across the Group.
• Lead enterprise-wide legal risk management.
• Manage litigation, arbitration, investigations and external counsel.
• Oversee intellectual property, trademarks and licensing.
• Support anti-corruption, ethics and corporate conduct programmes.
• Provide oversight on employment and labour law matters.
• Advise on data privacy, cybersecurity and information governance.
• Manage relationships with regulators and government agencies.
• Oversee company secretarial responsibilities, statutory filings and corporate records.
• Develop legal reporting frameworks, risk dashboards and performance metrics.
• Drive legal technology, process optimisation and contract lifecycle management.
• Build and lead the Group's legal team.
