Legal Associate

Key Responsibilities Handle litigation matters from inception to conclusion under supervision of senior counsel Draft and review pleadings, motions, affidavits, written addresses, and other court processes Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies and briefs Represent the firm in court appearances, filings, and proceedings Liaise with clients, courts, and regulatory bodies Maintain proper case files, records, and litigation calendars Assist in negotiations, mediations, and dispute resolution where required Requirements LL.B and BL qualifications Call to the Nigerian Bar (mandatory) Minimum of 2–5 years post-call experience with strong litigation exposure Proven experience handling court proceedings and drafting court processes Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills Strong advocacy, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
