Job Description

Barinaada Legal is seeking a self-driven Legal Associate to join its legal team and contribute to corporate and commercial legal services. The position focuses on legal research, contract work, regulatory compliance, and collaborative support to clients and colleagues at the firm.

Key Responsibilities
• Work with team members to support the firm’s objectives and client needs. 
• Conduct legal research and prepare well-reasoned legal opinions and advice. 
• Negotiate, prepare, and review contracts and other legal documents for clients. 
• Advise and assist clients on various regulatory compliance issues. 
• Perform other tasks assigned by the firm from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years post-call experience in legal practice. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Proficiency in using collaboration and productivity tools. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Must be available to resume immediately and be close enough to access the office in Yaba, Lagos Mainland.
