Job Summary

Thierry Technologies Nigeria Limited is seeking a versatile and experienced Lawyer/Human Resources Manager to oversee the organisation’s legal operations and people management functions. This dual-role professional will support the company’s strategic growth by ensuring legal compliance, managing employee relations, driving HR policies, and safeguarding the company’s interests across all business activities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned legal practitioner with strong HR expertise, capable of delivering sound legal guidance while leading HR initiatives that enhance workplace culture, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage legal disputes, liaise with external counsel, and represent the company when required.
  • Conduct legal risk assessments and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain proper legal records, documentation, and filing systems.

Human Resource Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage HR policies, procedures, and best-practice frameworks.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development processes.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace discipline.
  • Drive initiatives that support workplace culture, employee productivity, and organisational efficiency.
  • Manage payroll inputs, leave administration, and staff welfare programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and employment regulations.
  • Support management in organisational planning and workforce optimisation.
