Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • - Represent the company as a party in court proceedings affecting its interests
  • - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents
  • - Compliance issues with Government agencies, where necessary and applicable
  • - Registration of title documents and related matters
  • - Provide Secretarial services
  • - Liaising with external Solicitors on assigned briefs
  • - Other matters incidental to the duty of a lawyer to his client under the relevant laws

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • - LL.B and B.L qualification
  • - Called to the Bar and in good standing with the relevant professional body
  • - 3 years post-call experience (corporate or commercial law exposure is an advantage)
  • - Strong contract drafting and review skills
  • - Good understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law
  • - Excellent legal research and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • - High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
