The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer to join our legal team in Abuja. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified legal professional with at least one (1) year of post-call experience to gain hands-on experience and develop their career within a leading technology company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's legal functions, ensuring compliance, and providing essential legal advisory services under the guidance of senior legal counsel. This position offers an immediate start for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of various contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal opinions and memoranda on diverse legal issues.
• Support the legal team in ensuring the organization's compliance with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Provide assistance in managing litigation matters, including preparing court filings and liaising with external counsel.
• Act as a point of contact and coordinate effectively with external lawyers, courts, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain accurate and organized legal records, documentation, and case files.
