Head of Legal

Requirements

• 15 – 20 years post-call experience (5 years at Senior level)
• Proven Board advisory & Corporate Governance experience
• Demonstrable experience with Legal Risk Management
• Proven Board-level engagement experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to manage teams and drive outcomes
• Background from reputable organisations in oil & gas, marine services, high finance, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors
• Proven ability to build and lead an in-house legal function from the ground up
• Cross-regional or international exposure is an added advantage (organisation operates in Nigeria & looking to expand into other African countries)
• Deep knowledge of oil & gas/maritime industry with network of contacts with NIWA/NIMASA e.t.c
