About Role

  • The Compliance & Regulatory Officer will play a critical role in safeguarding Sylvastar Group’s operations by ensuring strict adherence to all applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • This role supports management by identifying compliance risks, maintaining regulatory standards across all subsidiaries, and promoting a strong culture of corporate governance and ethical conduct within the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements
  • Monitor regulatory updates and advise management on implementation and risk impact
  • Develop, review, and enforce internal compliance policies and procedures
  • Maintain statutory records, licenses, permits, and regulatory filings
  • Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, legal advisers, and external auditors
  • Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to management
  • Train staff on regulatory and compliance requirements

Requirements

HND/LLB/LB, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field

  • 2–4 years experience in compliance, regulatory, or risk-related roles
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian regulatory frameworks and corporate governance
  • Excellent documentation, analytical, and reporting skills
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
