Advisor, Legal, Dispute Resolution

The Advisor, Legal – Dispute Resolution will work closely with the Dispute Resolution Team to manage the litigation portfolio of Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, Stanbic IBTC Bank Limited, and other subsidiaries within the Group.

The role also supports legal risk management, oversees litigation-related complaints, ensures compliance with court orders, and represents the Group in litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with external solicitors and monitor the handling of litigation involving the Group and its subsidiaries
• Act as the Group’s witness in court proceedings, mediation, and dispute resolution sessions
• Manage compliance with court orders, including garnishee proceedings
• Handle client complaints escalated to the Legal Department that may result in litigation
• Maintain litigation schedules and related legal registers for the HoldCo and subsidiaries
• Support the Group’s legal risk management and dispute mitigation processes
