JOB SUMMARY

Our client seeks a seasoned lawyer to provide expert legal counsel on capital market operations, investment banking, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. The role involves advising on complex transactions, managing regulator relationships, and ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Capital market transactions and regulatory compliance
  • Investment banking and financial services regulation
  • Relationship management with regulators (SEC, CBN, etc.)
  • Corporate governance and board advisory
  • Compliance and risk management
  • Legal advisory for investment banking activities
  • Drafting and reviewing financial contracts and agreements
  • Advising on regulatory changes and industry trends
  • Managing legal aspects of capital market deals
  • Providing strategic legal counsel to senior management

Requirements

  • LL.B, BL, and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in capital markets, investment banking, and regulatory affairs
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulations and laws
  • Must Live within stated location
