Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using online databases, case law, statutes, regulations, and secondary sources.
• Draft legal documents, memoranda, contracts, and correspondence.
• Summarize case law, statutes, and legal opinions for attorney review.
• Assist with case preparation, filing, and organization of legal documents.
• Review and verify documents for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
• Maintain and update case files and records digitally.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other team members virtually to support ongoing cases.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with ethical and professional standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• A paralegal certification is needed.
• 3+ years of previous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Researcher, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with legal research databases (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
