Job Summary

A leading Mortgage Bank in the southwest is currently seeking a seasoned legal professional with expertise in mortgage and credit documentation. The successful candidate will ensure compliance, risk management and excellence in loan documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Review Customers’ Appraisal Memoranda (CAMs) and offer letters in line with underwriting standards.

Examine and validate legal documentation on franchise products (MREIF, GHF, NMRC, NHF).

Manage income assurance processes, ensuring all required documentation is complete.

Draft and prepare loan agreements and related legal instruments (Power of Attorney, Sales Agreement, Legal Mortgage Deed, etc.).

Ensure compliance with loan checklist requirements prior to disbursement.

Verify Conditions Precedent to drawdown are clearly stated and satisfied before execution.

Provide legal advisory reports on customers’ loan requests
