Legal Officer (Lawyer)

Requirments

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
• Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL) is mandatory.
• Minimum of five (5) years of post-call experience in corporate law, commercial law, or a similar in-house legal role.
• Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Demonstrable experience in ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian corporate law, commercial law, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
