Legal Manager – Contract & Litigation

PZ Cussons is seeking a Legal Manager – Contract & Litigation to provide strategic legal support across its African operations. The successful candidate will advise on commercial transactions, manage litigation and dispute resolution matters, support employment law issues, and help the business balance commercial opportunities with legal and regulatory risk.

This role is ideal for legal professionals with experience in commercial, litigation, and employment law who are looking to make a meaningful impact  at a multinational FMCG company.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice on commercial transactions, contracts, and business decisions.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements while balancing legal risk and business objectives.
• Lead litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters to protect the company's interests.
• Advise on employment and labour law matters, investigations, and workplace issues.
• Identify emerging legal and regulatory risks and support regulatory investigations and compliance activities.
• Build strong relationships across business functions and improve legal operations, reporting, and legal awareness within the organisation.
