Job Description

 We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Associate with strong litigation experience to support the firm’s legal practice. The ideal candidate will be actively involved in handling contentious matters, court appearances, legal research, drafting, and case management, while providing sound legal support to senior counsel and clients. Key Responsibilities Handle litigation matters from inception to conclusion under supervision of senior counsel Draft and review pleadings, motions, affidavits, written addresses, and other court processes Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies and briefs Represent the firm in court appearances, filings, and proceedings Liaise with clients, courts, and regulatory bodies Maintain proper case files, records, and litigation calendars Assist in negotiations, mediations, and dispute resolution where required 

 Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦180,000.00 per month

 LL.B and BL qualifications Call to the Nigerian Bar (mandatory) Minimum of 2–5 years post-call experience with strong litigation exposure Proven experience handling court proceedings and drafting court processes Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills Strong advocacy, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines

Prepare a solid answer that reflects your journey and shows that you are undoubtedly suitable for the role. Make it comprehensive yet natural.If a question catches you off guard, stay calm and composed. You do not have to know everything. Take a brief moment to think, say what you can, and move on confidently. Do not let one tough question throw you off balance.
