Job Description

Hullbridge Solicitors is seeking a Legal Associate to support senior lawyers across litigation, corporate governance, energy, electricity and banking law. The role involves legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, preparing case files, assisting with court processes and client transactions, and contributing to legal strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analyse legal issues.
  • Draft and review contracts, pleadings, legal opinions and other documents.
  • Prepare and maintain case files.
  • Assist with court processes and client transactions.
  • Provide support on litigation, corporate, energy, electricity and banking matters.
  • Attend client meetings and work with senior lawyers on legal matters.
  • Contribute to strategy development for disputes and transactions.
  • Ensure assigned matters are handled accurately and in compliance with applicable laws.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years post-call litigation experience.
  • Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle diverse legal issues across multiple practice areas.
  • Proficiency in preparing, reviewing and organising legal documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • LL.B and successful completion of professional legal training/admission to the Bar.
  • Experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is an advantage, particularly in litigation, corporate or energy-related matters.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to continuous learning.
