Legal & Compliance Manager

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA Diplomas) are a strong plus.
• Proven mid-level experience (typically 5+ years) in legal and compliance roles, preferably within the FinTech, banking, or digital asset sectors.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC) principles, and data privacy laws relevant to the African market.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• High ethical standards and a strong commitment to integrity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
