Legal Analyst

HRLeverage Africa, the pan African workforce management company is recruiting for a Legal Analyst on behalf of its client who is into the heavy duty equipment sales and rentals. The ideal candidate will provide in-house legal support to ensure the company operates within legal and regulatory frameworks. The role of the ideal candidate also involves advising on legal matters, managing contracts, mitigating risks, and supporting compliance while aligning legal guidance with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to internal departments
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Support litigation and manage external counsel
• Protect intellectual property rights
• Handle employment law matters and workplace disputes
• Identify and manage legal risks
• Support corporate governance practices
• Monitor regulatory changes
• Conduct legal training and awareness for staff
