About the Role

A prominent and reputable law firm based in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate, Litigation to join its dynamic legal team. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to handle complex and high-stakes litigation matters for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters from inception to conclusion, including complex commercial disputes, corporate litigation, and other civil matters.

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective legal strategies.

Draft a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and settlement agreements.

Represent clients effectively in court, tribunals, and alternative dispute resolution forums.

Provide expert legal advice and strategic counsel to clients on litigation risks and compliance issues.

Collaborate closely with partners and other team members, and mentor junior associates.

Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and proactive case management.
