- Provide legal advice on all real estate and construction transactions.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal due diligence on land acquisition and property transactions.
- Prepare and perfect title documents and liaise with relevant government agencies.
- Represent the company in litigation, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
- Advise management on employment, commercial, and corporate legal matters.
- Manage external solicitors and legal consultants where required.
- Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Keep the company informed of changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting its operations.
Requirements
Requirements
- LL.B and B.L. from recognized institutions.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-call experience, with substantial experience in the real estate and construction sector.
- Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) with a valid practicing licence.
- Strong knowledge of property law, land documentation, construction contracts, company law, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
