- Support Litigation Matters: Assist with the handling and management of litigation matters from commencement to conclusion.
- Legal Research & Drafting: Conduct legal research and assist in drafting court processes, legal opinions, correspondence, applications, and other legal documents.
- Court Representation: Attend court proceedings, take notes, monitor case progress, and provide support to senior counsel on assigned matters.
- Case Preparation & Management: Assist with preparing case files, reviewing documents, organising evidence, and ensuring that all relevant documents and processes are properly filed and maintained.
- Client Support: Assist with client communication, meetings, and the provision of updates on assigned matters under appropriate supervision.
- Legal Compliance & Deadlines: Monitor court dates, filing deadlines, and other procedural requirements to ensure timely action and compliance.
- Support Senior Counsel: Provide research, drafting, administrative, and other legal support to senior associates and partners on litigation matters.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognised institution and qualification from the Nigerian Law School (B.L.).
- 0–2 years of post-call litigation experience. Relevant experience in a law firm is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Nigerian legal procedures, civil litigation, court processes, and legal research.
- Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research and prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured legal documents.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to different legal matters, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to manage case files, documents, court dates, and multiple deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing documents, preparing court processes, and conducting legal research.
- Ability to analyse legal issues, identify relevant authorities, and contribute practical solutions.
- Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and sound professional judgment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior lawyers and other members of the legal team while taking initiative on assigned tasks.
