- Provide legal advice and guidance to Management on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and operational matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents across the Group.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards across all business operations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks while supporting business growth and strategic initiatives.
- Manage disputes, litigation, and external legal counsel where necessary.
- Support corporate governance activities and maintain statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Advise on employment, property, construction, and commercial transactions.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments that may impact the Group's operations.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) and qualification to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
- Minimum of 5 years' post-call experience, preferably as an in-house counsel or in a reputable law firm.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, property, construction, and employment law.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide practical business-focused legal solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
