Independent Legal & Regulatory Consultant

Applicants must:

• Be called to the Nigerian Bar and currently entitled to practise.
• Have at least 10 years' post-qualification legal experience.
• Be based in Lagos or Abuja and willing to travel between both locations when required.
• Have strong experience in commercial, corporate and dispute-resolution matters.
• Have demonstrable experience dealing with CBN and/or Nigerian financial-services regulation.
• Have experience working with international, multinational or foreign corporate clients.
• Have experience with regulatory submissions and representations.
• Have experience handling commercial disputes or debt-recovery matters.
• Demonstrate strong commercial judgment, communication and independent working ability.
• Be available immediately or at short notice.
• Experience with SEC Nigeria and CAC is desirable, while admission to practise in another international jurisdiction is also an advantage.
