Job Description
ETC Workforce Services Limited is recruiting an Energy Policy & Advocacy Officer to support policy analysis and regulatory advocacy within Nigeria's energy sector. The successful candidate will contribute to policy development, engage with key stakeholders, and monitor regulatory developments to support effective advocacy and compliance.
This role is ideal for professionals with experience in energy policy, regulatory affairs, or public policy who are passionate about shaping Nigeria's energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft regulatory submissions and policy documents.
- Monitor developments in Nigeria's energy policies and regulatory framework.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and industry partners.
- Support policy analysis and advocacy initiatives involving agencies such as the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) and the Rural Electrification Agency (REA).
Requirements
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- A degree in Law, Public Policy, or Social Sciences.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in regulatory affairs, policy analysis, or advocacy.
- Strong knowledge of Nigeria's energy sector and regulatory framework.
- Excellent research, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
