Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lawyer with a minimum of three (2) years post-call experience to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, commercial practice, litigation and be able to manage multiple cases and clients effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients across various sectors.
  • Handle litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, court appearances, and trial advocacy.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned opinions on diverse legal issues.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for corporate and commercial transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members on complex legal matters.
  • Stay updated on evolving technological, legal and regulatory frameworks affecting clients and the firm.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three (2) years post-call experience in active legal practice.
  • Strong litigation, corporate, and commercial law experience.
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach to legal issues.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
