Eligibility

Eligibility for the University of Leeds MBA Excellence Scholarship includes the following requirements:

• Admission to MBA Program: Applicants must hold an offer for the Full-Time MBA program at Leeds University Business School for the 2025/2026 academic year.
• Academic Excellence: Candidates should have a first-class or upper second-class undergraduate degree (2:1) or international equivalent, typically with a GPA of 3.5/4.0 or higher.
• Professional Experience: Applicants must have at least three years of relevant postgraduate work experience in a managerial or leadership role, demonstrated through a CV or professional references.
• Leadership Potential: Candidates should showcase leadership qualities, initiative, and a commitment to professional development, evidenced through a scholarship essay or interview.
• English Proficiency: International applicants must meet English language requirements, such as IELTS 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 92 (with minimums of 21 in listening, 21 in reading, 23 in speaking, and 22 in writing).
• Application Process: A separate scholarship application is required, including a 500-word essay outlining career goals, leadership achievements, and reasons for pursuing the Leeds MBA.
