The Opportunity: Litigation Lawyer
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Lawyer to join our esteemed Legal Services team in Lagos. This is a pivotal mid-level role for a legal professional eager to take on significant responsibilities, lead complex commercial disputes, and contribute to our firm's success. We offer an immediate start for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial disputes from inception through to resolution, including pre-trial strategy, court representation, and settlement negotiations.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare detailed opinions, memoranda, and advisory reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Draft and review a wide range of legal documentation, policy papers, and compliance reports.
- Provide expert legal counsel to corporate clients on matters pertaining to contract breaches, risk exposure, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide junior associates and interns, ensuring high-quality output and fostering their professional development.
- Strategically coordinate team workflows, delegate responsibilities effectively, and ensure the timely delivery of results on complex legal matters.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary package ranging from NGN 250,000 - 400,000 (negotiable), plus commission, reflecting your experience and contribution.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-call work experience in litigation, preferably within a reputable law firm or legal department.
- Proven track record in managing commercial disputes and providing sound legal advice.
- Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
