Job Description
Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for a Junior Associate (female only for gender balance).
- The Junior Associate shallassist Senior Associates inhandlingcomplex legal matters, prepare legal documentation, represent clients in court proceedings, and provide strategic legal advice.
- Additional responsibilities include conducting thorough legal researchand, collaborating with clients to develop case strategies.
- The Junior Associate will contribute to the firm's ongoing success in achieving favorable outcomes for its clients.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) and call to the Nigerian Bar (BL) are mandatory.
- A master’s degree in Law or related fields is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years of post-call legal experience, with a focus on dispute resolution or similar practice areas.
- Female Only (for gender balance)
- Must be very presentable and articulate.
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and client management abilities.
- A deep understanding of Nigerian law and demonstrated ability to apply legal concepts effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and provide mentorship to junior associates.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes cases under tight deadlines, with attention to detail and strategic planning.
- Must be computer literate.
