Job Description
The British Council Internship Program offers students / graduates an experiential learning opportunity to gain real world experience through an internship programme.
Aside the competitive monthly salary and other benefits, the practical experience an intern gains is expected to complement the theoretical knowledge he/she has gained during their studies.
The British Council in Nigeria is inviting applications form suitably qualified graduates for her 2026 internship opportunity.
The British Council would like to offer students/graduates an experiential learning opportunity to gain real-world experience through an internship programme.
The practical experience an intern gains is expected to complement the theoretical knowledge he/she has gained during their studies.
The intern is expected to both learn from and contribute to the workplace during the internship period, in turn providing an opportunity to increase employability skills.
An outcome is that students and graduates are more employable and successful because of the skills they acquire.

Requirements
- Be a recent graduate (within the last four years) with excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Be familiar with social media platforms and basic digital marketing strategies.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Be computer literate, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Be self-motivated and proactive.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn, along with a professional attitude and drive.
- Have an interest in digital marketing, including social media and other online marketing techniques.
Desirable Qualities:
- Knowledge of social media trends and social networking tools
- Experience creating web content, such as blogging or video blogging, would be an added advantage.
Additional Requirements:
- All applicants should have a pre-existing legal status to live and work in the country of application.
