Job Description

The Senior Associate is responsible for managing complex legal matters, supervising junior associates and trainees, and ensuring high-quality legal services are delivered to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • ​Lead and manage complex legal cases from inception to resolution.
  • ​Provide legal opinions and strategic advice to clients.
  • ​Supervise and mentor Associates, Trainee Associates, and support staff.
  • ​Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, and legal correspondence.
  • ​Represent clients in court, arbitration, or mediation proceedings.
  • ​Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • ​Collaborate with Partners to develop case strategies and contribute to business development.
  • ​Maintain strong client relationships and uphold confidentiality and professionalism.
  • ​Contribute to knowledge development and firm publications.
  • ​Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc. in Law (LL.B).
  • ​Minimum of 6 years post-call experience in corporate legal practice.
  • ​Proven record of managing legal teams and handling complex cases.
  • ​LL.M/MBA is required.
  • ​Subject matter expertise and strong leadership skills.
  • ​Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to legal ethics.
  • ​Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • ​Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
