Legal Officer

Job Descriptions

• Prepare, review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, deeds, leases, MOUs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal due diligence on land and property acquisitions.
• Verify land titles and coordinate searches at relevant government agencies, including land registries.
• Facilitate perfection of title documents, including Governor's Consent, Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), Deeds of Assignment, and other property documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide legal advice on land acquisition, development projects, property sales, and commercial transactions.
• Manage litigation matters and liaise with external solicitors where necessary.
• Handle dispute resolution, mediation, and recovery matters involving clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Support contract administration and monitor legal obligations under agreements.
• Represent the company before regulatory agencies and government institutions when required.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and advise management on legal implications.
• Maintain proper custody of legal documents and company records.
• Provide legal support to all business units on operational and strategic matters.
