  • Liaise with external solicitors on court cases, while ensuring periodic reviews of case status to expedite resolution and assess the effectiveness of adopted strategies.
  • Assist in ensuring that all licenses, agreements, and permits of the Company are valid, and that contracts, Advance Payment Guarantees, and Bank Guarantees are renewed before expiration.
  • Assist in reviewing and drafting contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they comply with statutory and legal requirements; and continuously monitor legal and regulatory compliance and advise Management accordingly.
  • Assist in filing of renditions with regulatory Authorities.
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports for Departmental and Management Meetings.
  • Assist in preparation of Board Committee Reports and Minutes of Meetings.
  • Conduct legal verifications, especially for Vendor onboarding.
  • Any other matter incidental to the position and as directed by the CSLA.

Requirements

Requirements

  • LLB, BL, additional qualification is a plus
  • 1 - 3 years experience in a Law Firm or conglomerate.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of corporate and commercial law and regulatory compliance issues amongst others.
