  • Lead and oversee all legal matters relating to property acquisition, development, sales, and leasing
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including sale agreements, joint venture agreements, construction contracts, and vendor agreements
  • Ensure compliance with real estate laws, corporate regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Provide legal advisory to management on business decisions, risk exposure, and regulatory changes
  • Manage land documentation, title verification, due diligence, and perfection of titles
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, government agencies, and external counsel
  • Oversee litigation, dispute resolution, and arbitration processes, representing or coordinating the company’s interests effectively
  • Develop litigation strategies and manage ongoing legal disputes to minimize risk and exposure

  • LL.B and BL (qualified to practice law in Nigeria)
  • Minimum of 4-6 years post-call experience, with strong focus on real estate/property law
  • Proven experience in litigation and dispute resolution
  • Strong experience in high-value real estate transactions and title documentation
  • Strong knowledge of land laws, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance
  • Experience in luxury real estate or property development is highly preferred
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
