Summary
- Are you a skilled legal professional with a strong background in Intellectual Property (IP) law and at least 5 years’ experience?
- Our client – a reputable legal practice – is looking for a dedicated IP Legal Associate who can deliver sound legal advice and provide comprehensive IP services to clients.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal/IP documents
- Managing client relationships and supervising admin/legal support
- Providing IP-related legal opinions and overseeing legal processes
- Leading case research, contract execution, and dispute resolution
- Contributing to knowledge sharing, training, and firm development
Requirements
Requirements
- LL.B and B.L from a recognized institution; LL.M or certification in Intellectual Property Law is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years post-call experience, with a strong focus on IP law, trademark registration, patent filing, and copyright matters.
- Proven experience handling IP litigation, enforcement, and advisory work for corporate clients.
- Excellent legal drafting and research skills, with attention to detail and precision.
- Strong understanding of local and international IP frameworks, including WIPO and ARIPO processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client portfolios and maintain professional relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- A team player with integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to client service excellence
