Job Description
Thrive is restructuring its management team. The Operations Officer at TR Thrive will play a key behind-the-scenes role in keeping the platform’s daily activities organised, functional, and running smoothly. This role supports the head of operations as the operational backbone of the platform by handling routine coordination, monitoring platform performance, assisting with content workflows, and ensuring tasks are executed on time.
You will work closely with the Team Lead and other team members to ensure the platform consistently delivers reliable value to lawyers, law students, companies across the legal ecosystem, and the entire public using TR Thrive
Contract Details
Duration: 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Start Date: Immediate.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Operations Support
- Monitor the day-to-day functioning of the TR Thrive platform.
- Track basic performance indicators (e.g., new accounts, job applications, event registrations) and report issues promptly.
- Escalate platform bugs or downtime to technical teams and follow up until resolved.
- Assist with ensuring job posts, events, and scholarship listings are uploaded correctly and on time.
Team & Workflow Coordination
- Support the Operations Lead by keeping task lists updated, tracking deadlines, and preparing simple weekly status reports.
- Coordinate with relevant team members (content, customer support, community team) to ensure assigned tasks are completed.
- Maintain internal documentation, logs, and standard operating procedures.
Content & Community Support
- Assist with managing and updating routine platform content (jobs, events, scholarships, notifications).
- Support community engagement workflows such as responding to basic user queries, tracking common issues, and escalating complex ones.
- Help ensure consistency in platform messaging and user-facing information.
Administrative & Process Support
- Schedule internal check-ins, organise files, and maintain structured records of operations activities.
- Help track compliance items and ensure operational processes are followed.
- Prepare simple reports for management summarising weekly activity and operational observations.
Requirements
Educational Background
Recent graduate or current final-year student in law.
No advanced legal or technical background required; willingness to learn is more important.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong organisational habits and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Capable of handling routine tasks consistently without supervision.
- Comfortable using digital tools and online platforms.
- Clear communicator who can coordinate cleanly across teams.
- Able to manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in administrative work or operations support.
- Familiarity with online communities, job boards, or simple content-management systems.
- Basic understanding of metrics such as sign-ups, user activity, or engagement levels.

Platform updates and content are uploaded accurately and on schedule.
Operational tasks are completed without repeated follow-ups.
Issues are escalated appropriately and resolved quickly.
Weekly reports are clear, concise, and reliable.
