Legal Associate

Blacksmith Associates is seeking a highly motivated Associate Lawyer to join its expanding legal team. The role involves working closely with Partners and Senior Associates on commercial advisory, litigation and regulatory matters, including contributions to public interest and human rights work. This role offers significant hands-on responsibility and professional growth opportunities in a dynamic legal practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, contracts, briefs, opinions, and memoranda. 
• File and undertake civil and criminal litigation before national, regional, and international courts and tribunals. 
• Support commercial transactions and provide regulatory advisory services. 
• Participate in human rights and public interest litigation and advocacy initiatives. 
• Engage with clients, courts, regulators, and stakeholders under supervision. 
• Contribute to knowledge management, practice development, and internal firm initiatives.
