Lead, Legal Services (Contract Management)

The Lead, Legal Services (Contract Management) at Rite Foods Limited is a strategic legal role responsible for overseeing the company’s contract management function. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering commercial and operational contracts to protect the company’s legal and commercial interests, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on contractual risks, obligations, and mitigation strategies. 
• Ensure that contracts align with company policies, risk appetite and regulatory requirements. 
• Partner with internal teams (Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, HR, Operations) on contract-related matters. 
• Support commercial negotiations by providing legal input and risk assessment. 
• Act as key legal contact for external vendors, distributors, and business partners. 
• Identify contractual risks and recommend controls to minimise exposure. 
• Implement and manage contract lifecycle processes including creation, execution, renewal and termination. 
• Handle contract disputes, claims, and renegotiations, and liaise with external counsel for litigation or arbitration as required. 
• Drive continuous improvement in contract management systems and processes.
