Job Description

BDMS Global Group is seeking an experienced Group Human Resources Manager to provide strategic HR and administrative leadership across its growing portfolio of sales, marketing, and media businesses. This role is responsible for driving people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and culture development across all subsidiaries.

The ideal candidate will be a strong HR strategist with proven experience managing multi-business HR operations, supporting high-performance commercial teams, and building scalable people systems in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement group-wide HR strategies aligned with BDMS Global Group’s commercial objectives and expansion plans.
  • Lead recruitment, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession management across all business units.
  • Oversee performance management systems, learning and development, and leadership capability programs.
  • Design, standardize, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and administrative frameworks across subsidiaries.
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labor laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Drive organizational culture, employee engagement, and change management initiatives across the Group.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Group Executives, Business Heads, and Departmental Managers.

Oversee payroll administration, including accurate processing of salaries, allowances, and deductions. Maintain comprehensive employee compensation records, including documentation of bank details, wage structures, and remuneration history for all staff.

  • Lead HR analytics, reporting, documentation systems, and HRIS implementation and management.
  • Continuously improve HR operations, organizational structures, and manpower optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years’ HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial HR role.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) is mandatory or a strong advantage.
  • Prior experience supporting sales-driven, media, or marketing organizations is highly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labor law, compliance frameworks, and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage HR functions within a group or multi-company structure.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented business environment.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and strong people management capability.
