Entrepreneurial Legal Associate

The Plenipotent Company is recruiting an Entrepreneurial Legal Associate for its Talent Development & Business Incubation Programme. This two-year programme is designed for lawyers who want to build expertise in corporate and commercial law while developing the entrepreneurial skills needed to establish a successful, technology-enabled legal practice.

Participants will receive structured training, hands-on legal experience, business incubation, mentorship, and long-term career support.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate & Commercial Practice

• Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Draft and review commercial agreements, including NDAs, Service Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, and Shareholders' Agreements.
• Prepare legal opinions and advisory memoranda.
• Support corporate restructuring and capital-raising transactions.

Property & Real Estate

• Draft and review real estate documentation, including Deeds of Assignment and Lease Agreements.
• Conduct property due diligence and verification.
• Prepare and process perfection documents.

Corporate Governance & Compliance

• Draft board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate documentation.
• Support regulatory compliance and statutory filings.
• Assist in developing governance frameworks and internal corporate policies.

Client Advisory & Business Development

• Interface with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in client meetings and transaction discussions.
• Support business development initiatives.
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and continuous learning activities.
