About the scholarship

The Skadden Fellowship is administered by the Skadden Fellowship Foundation, which was established by the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in 1988 to mark its 40th anniversary.

The fellowship supports graduating law students, judicial clerks, and recent graduates who wish to pursue public interest legal work. It provides financial assistance and benefits for a two-year period to enable fellows to dedicate themselves to public interest law.
